Thanks - I expected to have a horrible time trying to make it actually look like a sock, but I got lucky, and my first attempt seemed to work out okay.

Wow Nice Phoenix, Instant favorite with out even a second thought. The feathers and the shadowing all look nice. Plus the colors the red, yellow, and black have a nice blend with the whole composition of the firebird is nice, plus the flaming eyes seem to grab the attention.
