First of all, it's not my character, so I can't explain why he doesn't have black teeth. He's a lion shapeshifter with mostly black fur. The reference picture I was given showed him with a necklace of skulls and teeth, so I thought I'd have it shattering as whatever it is that's killing him slices him open.
